Little Leaders

Welcome to our Little Leaders page. At Kilsby, we believe in empowering our children to take an active role in their school community. Our Little Leaders consists of two representatives from each class, from Year 1 through to Year 6. These representatives are selected through an application process and are responsible for organising fundraising events for everyone and participating in key decision-making to enhance our school environment. This is done through the representatives communicating with their classmates to gather ideas and collect feedback on the group's ideas.

Some of their impactful decisions have included the installation of our scooter pod, deciding where the best place was for this to go on the school site and the creation of a buddy bench, where they came up with the idea, chose the bench, agreed design for the sign, and held a grand opening ceremony - the only input from staff they needed was support to find money to make their idea a reality! Little Leaders play a vital role in making our school an even better place for everyone.
